was
born in Neubrandenburg (Germany) in 1964.
From
1981-87 he studied at the Hochschule für Musik
"Hanns Eisler" Berlin with Erich Krüger
and Prof. Alfred Lipka.
In
1985 he won the 2nd Prize at the
International Competition in Markneukirchen (1st
Prize was not awarded). Since 1992 he teaches
chamber music and viola at "Hanns Eisler"
Berlin.
He
appeared as soloist with various orchestras,
performs recitals with piano, joins in orchestra
projects with
the Academie of Baroque Music Berlin or the Chamber
Orchestra of Europe and guest stars with various
chamber musicians such as Boris Pergamenschkow, Lars
Vogt, Antje Weithaas, Cherubini and Petersen
Quartet.
